These long-legged friends are sure to send you giddy with delight. Layered with Bertie & Jack's vibrant 'Pink Zig Zag' print they're head and shoulders above the rest. They're completed with a signature and print title in the bottom right corner. It's created by cutting an illustration into a mount board and then layering colourful printed patterns behind the shapes. The look is completed with an MDF frame with a contemporary white finish. Bertie & Jack was started by artists Rebecca Macey-Cross and Emma Hughes shortly after having their children, who the company is named after. The kooky cut-out designers began experimenting with cutting their original illustrations in 2009, launching their first market stall in Bath soon after. They source all their materials from the rest of the surrounding south-west of England. They aim to make art work accessible to everyone, creating fun and colourful pieces that jog memories and create new ones.
