Villa Maria Private Bin Riesling 2016, Marlborough
New Zealand’s most famous winemaking region may be best known for its Sauvignon Blanc, but some vibrant Rieslings are also made here, and seem to have found a home away from home in Marlborough's temperate climate. Showing enticing aromas of lime, apple and vibrant passion fruit, this is immensely fresh despite being off-dry. An intriguing apéritif, this wine can also be paired well with lightly spiced, aromatic Thai food or glazed ham.
