The lesser-known sister estate of Léoville-Barton, Langoa-Barton is a similarly robust and old-school Saint Julien, albeit a little earlier drinking. Somewhat austere in its youth, this 1995 is now approaching peak maturity, with its ample tannins now more mellow and approachable, giving way to inky and ripe blackcurrant fruit.
