Inspired by the simplicity and clarity of vintage automotive speedometers, this timepiece’s dial is focused on essential time indication via the strong contrast between silvery-white and black. Large Arabic numerals and the Super-LumiNova® coated hands and minuterie provide perfect readability, with the iconic central seconds hand first catching the eye with its red colour and prominent Minerva arrow at the tip. Clearly reminiscent of early 20th century Minerva stopwatches, the scale stretches from 05 to 60, which underlines the racing lineage of the timepiece. The date indication is located close to the 15-minute numeral at 3 o’clock. The shiny, black ceramic bezel with hour numerals and indexes can be turned unidirectionally to indicate a second time zone. For a better grip, it boasts a knurled finish on the side, inspired by the petrol tank caps of vintage race cars. For utmost reliability and performance, the 41 mm satinated stainless steel case with semi-skeletonised horns is water-resistant to 100 metres and has been rigorously tested by the Montblanc Laboratory Test 500.
